About Dr. Mike Morris

Since September 2005, Mike has been a valued member of the department, with his teaching specialities being exercise and health, as well as exercise physiology.

Mike’s research interests revolve around perceived exertion and physical activity, where he has made notable contributions in these areas.

As the programme leader for the MSc Cardiovascular Health and Rehabilitation programme, Mike specialises in exercise physiology, data analysis, and statistics. Additionally, he teaches on a range of postgraduate modules including Exercise and Health, Physiology and Physical Performance, Cardiovascular Anatomy and Exercise Physiology, Clinical Exercise Testing, Prescription and Programming, Exercise and Weight Management, Research Methods and Data Analysis, and Research Project.

With his knowledge and experience, Mike is an excellent educator, helping students to develop a deep understanding of the subject matter. He is committed to advancing the field of exercise and health, and his contributions in research have helped shape the industry.
