Successful completion of this strength and conditioning training course will offer qualified fitness instructors the opportunity to prescribe safe and effective performance assisting exercise to athletes and the general public in either a team environment or on an individual one-to-one basis.
On completion of this course you will have the key practical coaching skills to allow you add essential strength and conditioning skills and expand your role as a personal trainer and exercise coach.
This strength and conditioning course is designed specifically for exercise professionals and personal trainers and health coaches working in the commercial health fitness industry and will provide you with the knowledge and skills to teach bootcamp style strength and conditioning either in health clubs and fitness centres in an employed capacity, or in a self employed contract basis in sporting clubs etc.

On successful completion of this strength and conditioning training course qualified fitness professionals will have the skills to:
- Analyse and interpret functional movement patterns for optimal exercise performance and reduced risk of injury
- Apply the principles of periodisation, conjugate method and multi-year training specific to strength and conditioning coaching
- Perform and coach advanced weight lifting movements to include olympic lifts
- Perform plyometric training techniques that will help improve power, strength and speed
- Integrate assistant exercises to complement the strength and conditioning programme
- Develop specific programmes to enhance your client’s performance while reducing their risk of injury

The discounted rate for graduates of the National Qualification in Exercise, Health Studies and Personal Training is €495.00.

This course is a continuing professional development course for qualified health fitness professionals and it is the responsibility of each individual applying for the course to check whether their primary fitness instructor qualification meets the eligibility requirements and is approved by REPS Ireland.
A copy of your primary fitness qualification must be scanned and emailed to info@ntc.ie prior to the course starting date.
Professional Indemnity Insurance cover is only valid if you hold a valid, industry recognised primary qualification at minimum EQF Level 3 in fitness instruction.
